LOVE – for our work, for our Families and children, and for each other, for our Community its Diverse Cultures and Languages, for the Land where we live, work, play and learn, for the sky, the earth and the birds and animals who live on this Land for learning and for play, for trying new things, for nature, for rainy days and puddles, bugs and snails and flowers, for running, jumping, sliding and climbing, for being a Superhero, and saving the world and for being a Pirate or Fairy in an enchanted land
LOVE – for the special moments which spark joy, for singing and dancing, making a mess and making a rainbow, for the crunch of sand and magic of playdough, for stories and pictures and for building and knocking things down, for sharing food together and sharing quiet moments, for beauty and for fun, for making friends and being a friend
WISDOM - for sharing ideas and asking questions, for knowing when to be still and silent and when to shout and talk, for having discussion and debate, for taking time with Families to learn about their lives and culture, for using knowledge to help, support, mentor and encourage, for learning to care for Country, for building our knowledge about the Original Custodians of this Land
WISDOM – to always be reflective in our practice, to ask for help, to keep on learning, to admit we don’t always have the answers, to be brave and welcome change, to embrace new ideas and throw away old ones, to respect and to be respectful, to listen and be patient, to BE.
