What is a working bee?
A working bee is when members of our community come together to improve and maintain our Kindergarten.
Who can come?
We welcome all families of children who come to our Kindergarten. The more helpers we have, the quicker, easier and better it will be!
What will we do?
There are a range of jobs and projects you can be involved with. Including: watering, planting, sweeping, cleaning, moving, raking, assembling, painting, chopping etc….
What do I bring?
Wear some comfy, old clothes and shoes. If you have some extra equipment (brooms, rakes, cleaning supplies, watering cans) available, feel free to bring it – the more tools, the quicker we can be. However feel free to turn up with nothing too. All help is appreciated.
Do I need special skills?
No! all helpers are valued and appreciated. If you DO have special skills, or access to special equipment (ie: drills, power hose, power saw etc…) then let your child’s teacher know! We would love the specialised help.
Need more information?
Speak to your child’s teacher for more information.
